As a CBCF intern, you’ll gain first-hand experience working alongside Members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) and other influential leaders in Washington, DC.

📙 St. Joseph AME book stipend for the Fall 2025 semester 📘
Applications for the St. Joseph AME book stipend for the Fall ‘25 semester are now being accepted via an email to the church office, stjosephsamec@stjamec.org. Applications may also be found on the church’s website https://www.stjosephame.org under the Ministries/Scholarships dropdown link. Please submit completed applications to Sis. Desdemona Faison via email to desfaison@gmail.com. The deadline for submissions is July 19, 2025. Late applications may not be processed before the beginning of the Fall '25 semester and may also delay the receipt of the funds. Edian Markham Scholarship recipients are not eligible for the book stipend. Students receiving the St. Joseph AME annual scholarship upon graduating from high school are not eligible to receive the book stipend for the first year (freshman year) immediately following the award. The $350 book stipends are awarded each semester after the first year for no more than 8 semesters. Book stipend awards are not retroactive. Undergraduate students who have been read into full membership of the church who may not have been eligible for the St. Joseph AME scholarship at the time of their high school graduation may be eligible for the book stipend. Students must submit proof of enrollment (college tuition invoice, registrar’s statement verifying enrollment, class schedule or housing voucher for the semester in which the funds are requested.)
